Activision has fired the president and CEO of Infinity Ward, the leaders of the team responsible for the development of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
According to the report, Jason West (pictured above left), longtime president of the development studio and director of the juggernaut 2009 hit Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and CEO Vince Zampella (right) are no longer with Infinity Ward, which is owned by Activision Blizzard.
West’s Facebook page now features the update: “Jason West is drinking. Also, unemployed.”

More recently asource close to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 developer stated that a "bunch of bouncer-types" just showed up outside of the Infinity Ward offices unannounced. When approached by employees, the non-uniformed "bouncers" were unwilling to disclose why they were there.
"Everyone is on edge," said the source.
The mood around the Infinity Ward offices is currently described as "freaked out" and "confused."
"We just wanna make our games," said the source.
